Acilac 300 Tablet is a medication commonly used to treat gastrointestinal disorders. It contains a substance called AcipHex (Rabeprazole Sodium), which is a proton pump inhibitor (PPI). Proton pump inhibitors work by reducing the production of stomach acid, thus helping to relieve symptoms such as heartburn, acid reflux, and stomach ulcers. Acilac 300 is mainly prescribed for conditions like gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), duodenal ulcers, and gastric ulcers. It can also be used as part of a combination therapy for eradicating Helicobacter pylori bacteria, which is associated with certain gastrointestinal conditions.
